Jason Creech is CFO and Director of Operations for Commonwealth Financial Group, an independent financial services firm providing customized and innovative solutions that help to enhance financial security and create wealth. Jason has been a part of the Commonwealth team since 2006 and is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Commonwealth services for clients, staff, and advisors. He is a registered securities principal, holding series 7 and 24 registrations with Securian Financial Services.
Jason is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of South Carolina and has more than 20 years of management experience in similar operations roles in varying industries. He began his career as Director of Stadium Operations for a professional baseball team and has managed the operations of a 4 store retail furniture chain generating $12 million per year in revenue. Throughout his career in operations, he has been instrumental in helping cut costs, while improving the level of service provided to clients and employees. His focus is on making Commonwealth a great place for clients to do business and for staff and advisors to work.
Jason is a devoted husband to his wife, Emily, and father to their three children. He is an active member of East Cooper Baptist Church and serves as CFO of the Commonwealth Cares Foundation, a non-profit organization that was founded specifically to give back to the local community. The Foundation organizes the Needtobreathe Classic, an annual golf tournament benefiting OneWorld Health, a non-profit dedicated to building sustainable healthcare in impoverished nations.
